I don't particularly like debates bcuz of the cause of anger in ppl, but for the sake of the pursuit of truth I will.
First of all, the slavery of blacks was terrible and wrong, but it is not a comparison to the allowing of gays to marry. I don't know what "biblical reasons" people used to make slavery okay, but whoever they are used the Bible without knowing its context. If you know which passages they used please
tell me. The intelligent ppl of that era also used the Bible to end slavery.
The Bible clearly states throughout that homosexuality is a sin, but He still loves them, and wants them to repent.
