Who Said I Didn't? (An L Love Story)

Chapter 3

The long narrow halls inside the Wammys House filled with blackness. Only the moon shined light upon the abandoned corridors through the windows. In another room, a certain blonde tossed and turned in her bed. She buried her face in her pillow, soaking it with tears. In her mind was woman wearing a white wedding dress stained in red. The same substance leaked from under her. The woman cried, screaming in pain, while clutching her stomach.

Miku didn't know what to do. The room was deserted. There were no windows or doors. No signs of any human being ever being there. The woman on the floor crawled toward Miku, still clutching her wound. With her other hand, she lashed out at Miku.

"Miku! Miku! Wake up." Said girl bolted up, shaking and in tears. A cold hand was placed on her shoulder. Looking up, Miku noticed her twin sister with a worried expression. "Are you okay?" Miku looked away from her look-alike's concerned gaze and focused it on her lap.

Mika wiped away Miku's fallen tears and rubbed her back comfortingly. Again, she spoke. "Are you okay?" Miku's face was unreadable through her bleach blonde locks. She stayed silent. Twenty minutes passed and her shakes came to a halt. She looked up at Mika with a blank expression. Her face was paler than paper itself. Mika gave her mirror image a look of sympathy mixed with concern before going back to her bed.

Miku didn't lie back down. She sat up, waiting for her twins breathing to deepen. A few minutes had passed before she could hear Mika's breathing pattern begin to slow and become more deep. Miku stood up, slipped on her white slippers, and walked out the door.

Her blonde hair was thrown into a messy bun. The cold wind blew against her visible arms, making goose bumps form on her skin. It looked like Miku chose the wrong night to sleep in her sleeveless white gown. She continued to shiver as she walked through the dimly lit passage ways.

Turning the corner, a hand reach for Miku and pulled her into the shadows. She tried to scream, but her captor was prepared. He covered her mouth with a rag. Miku's blue eyes widened in fear at the scent of Chloroform she inhaled. Her eyes felt heavy, but she continued to fight, her small body thrashing against his tight hold. She tried to scream, but nothing came out. At last her body went limp, not before she felt the hot tears spilling down her cheeks.

His red eyes showed pride in what he had done, before dragging her unconscious, drooping body into the darkness.
