You're doing an intense gym test, and you're narrating everything in first person in your head. My muscles were on fire. A tremor rushed through my body as another person fell to the floor. My lungs ached; each breath quivered. I didn't know how much longer I could keep this up.
You make up quotes in your head.
You go through as many notebooks as you do tissues.
Ink is precious.
The most frustrating thing is thinking of an idea for your story one night, then waking up and forgetting.

I do most of those things too! I tend to think too much..
But I like to write my stories on the computer. It's faster, really.

Oh I know another one! When you write about a character's emotions you act it out and write down those feelings to make the characters more real! :)

In class you don't day dream about your future. You think about your stories.
After you listen to a song, you can create a whole descriptive scene in your head.
You start acting like the main character in your book.
You start getting into weird scenarios to see how it would work out in a story.
In the shower your parents think your weird because they hear you talking to yourself.
Nobody is as important, but your characters in your story.
Everyone thinks you're weird.
Yes, this is all me!

You know you're a writer when you . . .
Instead of writing notes in math, you work on a really good story in the first notebook you find.
Whenever someone asks you for a pencil or pen, you have twenty of them on you along with your notebook or other writing device.
If you're reading a book and you think, "It would be so cool if this happens," predicting something to occur, and then it happens because you think like a writer.
You noticed that the last one was a run-on sentence.

You start speaking with really big words and intense phrases.
For example: "Hey Mary, how do you like the food?" "Oh, it's absolutely prodigious! I can just feel the flavor sinking into my tastebuds like the sun absorbing water on a hot day!"
Or: "Hey Mary, you've broken a bone. How does it feel?" "Oh, it's just so dolorous! It's as if a million needles are piercing through you muscle and bone, as it's being dipped in acid! In the moment, you feel as if you'd rather be DEAD!"

That is me. I told someone a quote I made uo and they were like "What movie is that from?"
Also, I wake up in the middle of the night with an idea and start writing. I am currently writing four books.
