i dont think god is against gays/lesbians. The people who says he is may as well fVck off because if we followed everything the bible said, we'd still be giving grain offerings
well id love 2 hear ur argument in more detail, then ill tell u if i agree
That's what I mean by people need to realize what separation of church and state means.
A vast majority of laws the government passes are based on Christian morality and beliefs (Granted I think that has more to do with how popular the religion is than anything else.)
But this is a subject where religion is used largely as the excuse for hatred and bigotry.
What with the 'sanctity of marriage' argument (despite the fact no one has any real issue with celebrity publicity weddings) and what not.
well its the christian church who has control over it, not the gov.
Ummmm..............I'm not sure 'bout this......sorry!
I think god loves us all in our glory but I certanly don't really know much about this but I think he doesn't want us to be gay/lesbian beause he would made two adams and two eves.
But that is all I heard about it.
And about the laws against it, it's agains the constitution. Technically, in a free nation the government does not have to take away the rights of its citizens, and laws against marriage is. It is discrimination. People are people, love is Love, no KNE; not even goes have control over that.
If suh a god does exist, which I'm skeptical about by nature, and if it is true he loves us, his children, then he can't hate us for what he made us to be.
I have this theory about a bible verse, and the whole bible itself. Specifically the one stating being gay/lesbian is an abomination.
The bible was written by man through diving INSPERATION. Keyword, Insperation. Notice it is not possssion, where he divine has complete control.
It could have simply been the opinion of the author at that time.
Dude I'm baptis100%but if he does I'm fvckin screwd. This is why I hate the g-man. They say they want equal rights for everyone, and the persuit of happiness is garenteed to all peoples no matter what gender, race,or religion. But they take away the right to same sexe marriage, its no longer equal. Also that law for no same sexe marriage its based on one religion. What if someone has a religion that embraces LGBT? It makes it were not everyone can have equal rights or practice whatever religion!
What they said.. and...
I don't think God is against that really. But in reality, is there really a God? But... wasn't the bible written by humans? So it really was the humans saying that gays can't marry gays, eh? I mean... I don't have a religion, so don't bash me here, but... didn't, as in above, god create us 'all'? He would have loved us 'all', then... so why would he hate against one of his own creations for their liking and preferences of gender?
