I think you can make it illegal all you want, but that's not going to keep people from doing it. Adding more rules and regulations will simply make them want to kill themselves more. I don't think it makes much of a difference either way.
You can't exactly punish a dead person. What are you gonna do? Put their corpse in jail? Ooohhhh I'm so scared. But anyway. I think people who survive their attempt should be helped not punished. It would just make them try again....
Umm... How would you punish someone for killing themselves? I mean they're already dead so you can't do anything to them that would hurt them anymore. I'm not in support of suicide but a law against it won't stop it from happening.
If you are in that much pain, you should be able to die. But first of all, if you kill yourself because of bullying, bullies should just f$#% off! I attempted suicide, until a good friend of mine pulled me out of the road before the truck hit me.
No. It wouldn't prevent people from committing suicide because suicidal people feel like they have nothing to lose.
Also, if the person successfully committed suicide, they could not be punished. If it was a failed attempt, they would be punished, when really, what they need is help, not punishment.
Making suicide illegal wouldn't stop people from trying to commit suicide, it would just punish people who attempt to commit it. Suicidal people need help, and how can they get that help in jail
It's hard to say. If it was illegal, suicide will not be prevent. How would you even get arrest for doing this if you kept it all a secret? Killing yourself (DON'T DO IT) is more quicker than getting caught.
There was a person in the bible that god called a "godly man", and he commited suicide. Yall know who that is?
As much as I don't want people killing themselves, making a law won't help. They're already dead.
This was a stupid question... Would people who died be afraid of the law?
I hope you realize that not all people who attempt suicide die.
Um... Isn't suicide already illegal?
