Suicide is actually already illegal in some areas if the attempt fails.
Yeah, suicide is illegal in England
Yes. YES. What an excellent idea. If only there was a way to enforce it. Really, what are you going to do once they've done it illegally?
Well, if they try and fail....
Not trying to be rude but how is the law gonna charge someone who is already dead?
Well, it is a bad thing, but if the people commit suicide, what is the law going to be? They can't exactly put a dead guy in jail...
Guys, lets think about this for a second. If suicide is legal... so what? Um people, you're already dead, what are they gonna day? Arrest your family? Come on. If you're dead, you're dead. And if a person is really that unhappy with their life, they have the choice whether they want to keep living or not. The love of my life committed suicide, that was his choice. He talked to me before he did it too. He hated his life, he was so unhappy.
Both of his parents committed suicide and people only like him because he was good-looking. He didn't have any friends except for me, and he knew how I felt for him. But he explained to me how unhappy he truly was, and how if he kept living he would just keep hurting the people around him. He said that I was the only thing keeping him alive, and finally he just couldn't do it anymore. He called me and just said, "Subrina, I love you, and I'm sorry."
I could hear the gun go off through the phone.
Throw a corpse into a cell? Genius, these people are. Help should be offered to those who attempt it and fail, but how can you possibly punish somebody that's dead? Punish their family? No, sometimes the family had nothing to do with it...
I mean, what are you going to do to people who commit suicide?
Put their dead bodies in a cell and wait for it to smell?
Your life, your choise.
Okay, so first of all, if they die, the law would be pointless. But, if they don't succeed, what would be the point of arresting them? What has it done to society if they didn't succeed? It's not a crime. They don't deserve jail time. BUT, I think that they're should be more help available for people who have thoughts of suicide, or attempted to.
These people need help not time in prison !
um ya excuse me ya you who made the test, how are they supposed to legalize that????
